15| The IFP -H alton H ills | T hursday,O ctober 18,2018 theifp.ca Halton Hills marketing and communications firm CA+14 has a brand new of- fice space - and a new flight plan for its clients. Eric Doubt, of Commu- nication Associates, and Peter Perko, of Studio Fourteen, merged their companies in late 2016, and after renovating their office space at Williams Mill in Glen Williams and rebranding their website, CA+14 hosted an open house on Sept. 20 to cele- brate their new home. "We wanted to estab- lish a new marketing and communications compa- ny both locally and glob- ally. We all come from the Halton Region area but have been working with global clients for a long time, as well," Doubt said, adding that CA+14 works with a wide range of busi- nesses, from small, to B2B, to non-profits, to or- ganizations like hospital foundations and cham- bers of commerce. "We had a lot of comple- mentary resources and talents in our businesses and we wanted to make them bigger and better," he said. As for their new online presence, Perko says the design was a team effort that ultimately boiled down to two concepts: a blank page, representa- tive of the endless possi- bilities for new ideas, and a paper airplane, symbol- izing their company launch, as well as "taking off" from a business per- spective. "We wanted something a little bit different and something to tie into our new space here, as well as our direct mail campaign coming out soon," he said, showing off CA+14's new brochures, carefully fold- ed into paper airplanes.
