Brooks Heating and Air had just that experience, partnering with Mike Holmes and his son Mike Holmes Jr. for their latest television series, Holmes and Holmes. "It was a neat dynamic to see father and son, and father and son working to- gether," said Nathalie Brooks, of Brooks Heating and Air. The Georgetown HVAC company was asked to help install Napoleon heating and cooling products as part of a home renovation on the show, which will be aired both in Canada and the US. "They put in a wood burning furnace," said Brooks, including an air conditioner, two fire plac- es, a water heater and more. "It was interesting," said Brooks, explaining that the crew would be working, and then hear "quiet on the set." She says it was exciting for her husband, son and employees to get the chance to work with Mike Holmes. "Mike is a big supporter of young people in the trades," said Brooks. She says her family and company is honoured to have worked with Holmes. The season debuted on HGTV on Oct. 18 and will run for 12 weeks.
