At 7 p.m., a man and woman entered the Real Canadian Superstore at 171 Guelph St., and began fill- ing a cart with various gro- cery items valued at $213. Police allege when the cart was full, the pair pushed it outside without paying for the items. They were stopped by security in the parking lot and placed under arrest. Police allege the sus- pects then fled the area on foot, leaving the cart and groceries behind. The man is described as black, in his late 20s, ap- proximately five-foot-sev- en, 175 pounds with a beard. He wore a white toque with a red stripe near the top, a navy hooded winter jacket, black pants and brown work boots. The woman is de- scribed as white, in her mid-20s, five-foot-nine, 220 pounds. She wore a grey/navy light blue jacket, sweat pants and a beige coloured bag.
