The moon appears closer and a little bigger due to its position. It earned the name because in folklore villagers would hear the wolves howling at the moon when they were hungry and food was scarce in the cold January month. The blood reference refers to the scattering of light. Only the sun's red spectrum of light passes through the Earth's atmosphere when the moon is lined up perfectly. It's super because the moon's orbit is at its closest to Earth. The rare triple combination has only occurred three times in two centuries, according to David Quinn of North Halton Astronomy. The reality is, there is not as much money when separated as there was when you were together. You have to be very mindful of what you can really afford, and not end up "house poor". It is really important to do a budget to understand how much money you have and how much you have to spend. Also, how much is it really going to cost you in the short-term and the long- term. It is important to get proper advice about these investment issues. Ryan Colwell of IPC Investment Corporation on Main Street in Georgetown says this is something he often advises people about. He will help clients understand how much money they have, and what to think about financially so they make informed decisions, rather than based on emotional reactions to the separation. Ryan also helps people focus on the long-term, including retirement, so their ultimately financial goals can be met. Lockyer + Hein LLP is a full service firm that does a lot of family law.
