Beloved husband of Jackie (JTA). Best friend to Piper the dog. Loving father of the late Topher (2004), John (Melissa), Debbie (Les) and Kim (Victor). Cherished grandfather of Nolan and Mackenzie. Brother of Sharon, the late Ken and the late Paul. Brother-in-law of Patsy (Pat) and Gord (Mitch). He will be missed by his nieces and nephews. As the pharmacist in Acton for over 45 years, Bill will be missed by many. A consummate gentleman, he often put the well-being and care of others ahead of his own. Most importantly, everyone will agree that he was the person you could call on in your time of need. His love of tools and outside-the-box thinking made him dangerously resourceful and handy to all. Bill loved his Model T collections, trips to the flea market in search of rare treasures, and for possessing the most impractical of tool collections. An accomplished man within his two passions, he was a founding member of the Canadian Great Dane Club of Canada, and a contributing columnist to the Model T Society of America. Although his time with us has ended, he will always endure in our hearts and memory as the best husband, father, and friend anyone could hope to have. We love you Bill and know you're sharing a beer with Topher now. As per Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place. Sample 31 He had a nature you could not help loving And a heart that was purer than gold And to those who knew him and loved him His memory will never grow cold.
