Providing Georgetown with high-quality custom- er service remains a top priority. This is why we started the process of se- lecting a new service pro- vider as soon as we learned the previous provider was retiring from their location at 174 Guelph St. Our goal was and re- mains to limit the gap in service as much as possi- ble, while ensuring the proper due diligence is un- dertaken. (Last month) while we were in the due- diligence stage of procur- ing a new service provider for the Georgetown loca- tion, we learned that the se- lected candidate had a change of circumstance and had to withdraw their candidacy. Even though this situa- tion set us back, I want to assure you that we're con- tinuing our efforts to pro- cure a new candidate and I look forward to announc- ing a reopening of the Ser- viceOntario office in the near future. I want to thank your lo- cal MPP, Ted Arnott, for ev- ery effort he has made to ensure my ministry under- stands your community's needs.
