Although Courtney maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average at the University of Toronto and achieved an LSAT score in the top 1 per cent word- wide, the competition is fierce with over 7,500 qualified applicants competing for 560 spots at HLS. Courtney credits the teachers and staff at Erin Public School and Erin District High School for the incredible efforts they put in to ensure that all students are well prepared with a solid academic foundation on which to build their dreams. Gord was born 14th of November, 1952 in Northern Ireland. Mid 1950's he immigrated to Toronto moving to Georgetown in 1963. He raised his family in Ballinafad. Many will remember him as an exceptionally skilled carpenter. Loving dad to Ashley (Brandon) Short, Amy Graham and Angela (Kyle) Toletzka. Big brother to, Linda Ovenden, Maureen (Jim) Gillham, Wendy (Ron) Marshall. Son of, Lily (Elizabeth) Graham, and adored grandad to, Brody, Avery and Charlotte. A lovable uncle to many nieces and nephews and their children. Gord is predeceased by his Father, George Hamilton Graham. Gord enjoyed time spent with his daughters, grandchildren and the rest of his family and close friends. He could often be found watching a Leaf game, spending time outdoors or having a coffee with a friend. A celebration of his life will take place at a later time. She was dearly loved by her late husband James Lawson, and her children Alex Lawson, Graham Lawson and Caroline Doyle. SNELL, John Richard The family of John is sad to announce his passing at the Georgetown Hospital on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. John was born in London, England, in 1935 and spent his early years in Devon and Somerset. He was an Old Harrovian who eventually emigrated to Canada in 1960 where he began his career in the paper and packaging industry. John lived for many years in St. Bruno, Quebec and Georgetown, Ontario. He enjoyed sailing, keeping current with news events, and gardening. Left to mourn are his wife Maureen; daughters Lorna, Susan (Richard) and Belinda (James), and his grandchildren Katie, Charlie and Emmeline, all of whom he was extremely proud.
