Eagle Ridge Golf Club's first Golf Fore the Cure event raised $5,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society via donations from club members and the community. The inaugural event drew 54 ladies for a day of golf, fun and fundraising. The Canadian Cancer Society funds re- search, provides services to those living with cancer, advocates on cancer-related issues and educates people on making healthy choices.
