Deadline for Thursday's edition is Tuesday by 10 am Look for the RIGHT business for the JOB Police are searching for three suspects after an early morning break and enter at a Georgetown convenience store. In the early morning hours of Dec. 18, suspects smashed the glass front door of the Moore Park Convenience store (68 Main St. N.), and stole an ATM. Police shared few de- tails identifying the sus- pects. The driver was wearing a grey jacket, dark pants, dark shoes and a facial covering. Two passengers who entered the store were wearing dark sweaters, dark pants, dark shoes and facial coverings. The suspected vehicle is a black GMC Sierra. Police said that the in- vestigation is ongoing. Last week, assailants were unsuccessful in an attempt to steal an ATM from a gas station on Shel- burne. That attempt was po- tentially related to anoth- er ATM theft a week prior from the Orangeville Mall. In 2014, thieves pried open the door of a neigh- bouring business and broke through the drywal- l into the Moore Park store in an attempt to steal cigarettes and the ATM. The thieves were unsuc- cessful. CRIME THIEVES STEAL ATM FROM GEORGETOWN BUSINESS IN EARLY MORNING BREAK-IN BRYAN MYERS bmyers@metroland.com SIGN UP FOR OUR WEEKLY NEWSLETTER AT THEIFP.CA
