An attempted armed robbery of the Tim Hortons at 11 Mountainview Rd. N. on Dec. 27 and an armed robbery of the Domino's Pizza at 324 Guelph St, have been linked to two youths. A black handgun was observed on both occa- sions. A 19-year-old man from Georgetown was arrested on Feb. 26 and charged with: • Two counts of robbery; • Two counts of disguise with intent; • Two counts of posses- sion of a weapon for a dan- gerous purpose; and • One count of conspira- cy to commit an indictable offence. The accused was held for a bail hearing. Halton Police also iden- tified a 15-year-old boy from Georgetown as an in- volved party to the Domi- no's Pizza robbery. He has been charged with conspir- acy to commit an indict- able offence and public mischief. The youth was released on an undertaking. The identity of the youth cannot be revealed under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The identity of the 19-year-old will also not be released to protect the identity of the youth.
