Meetings at Halton Region Keeping everyone safe as businesses reopen in Halton Many businesses have felt the impact of COVID-19, including our local farms and agri-businesses. You may not know this but many local farmers have adapted their businesses during COVID-19 to offer online purchases, delivery and curbside pick-up. Now is a great time to support them by purchasing fresh produce and goods from them which also helps kick-start our local economy. Our online Simply Local map is one way that you can learn about what is offered at farms near you. Let's show our agricultural community that we are here for them. Many local businesses have been impacted by the pandemic, and Halton Region's Small Business Centre is here to help. During this period of transition, our team of expert consultants continue to provide support every step of the way--whether it's one-on- one consultations, virtual business seminars or updates on the latest resources and relief programs. Halton has also developed a new Resources for Businesses webpage--a one-stop hub to help employers navigate resources, supports and information on reopening safely. The webpage includes helpful tips to prevent COVID-19 in the workplace and industry- specific guidance.
