Monday to Friday 8am-4pm Leathertown Lumber would like to thank all of our customers for their patience during the first phase of the Covid-19 pandemic. An increase in demand and new hurdles in the processing of orders has resulted in increased lead times which we know have been frustrating. Thanks again for your patience. At this point we are announcing the reopening of the store following the guidelines put forth by the government of Ontario. Strict physical distancing will be in effect, along with reduced store capacity. Please be patient and kind to our staff who have worked very hard to make the last three months work for you. C A CALL AL I SON OR CAR I -LEE AT 905 - 702 - 1555 More than a dozen Hal- ton Hills businesses have been a part of the Town's 'Al Fresco in the Hills' pro- gram. Developed by the Town, in collaboration with the Economic Sup- port and Recovery Task Force, Al Fresco in the Hills provides eligible es- tablishments with oppor- tunities to create addition- al temporary outdoor din- ing capacity during the CO- VID-19 pandemic. "As businesses slowly begin to reopen, the focus of the Town and the Eco- nomic Support and Recov- ery Task Force has shifted to supporting an economic restart while recognizing public health as the top pri- ority," Mayor Rick Bon- nette said. The program is taking a two-phased approach to al- low businesses time to ad- just their operations. The first phase was a tempo- rary patio program launched in June, with temporary patios permit- ted until Oct. 31, 2020. Phase 2 will provide more outdoor dining op- portunities in larger public spaces and accommodate takeout patrons by encour- aging them to dine down- town in a safe manner. To apply for Al Fresco in the Hills, contact the Town's deputy clerk at va- leriep@haltonhills.ca. More information is available at www.inves- thaltonhills.com/al-fres- co-hills.
