A Georgetown teen has been charged following an investigation by Halton Police into a series of vehicle break-ins. On Oct. 29, members of the 1 District Street Crime Unit concluded a theft inves- tigation involving several vehicles in Georgetown, Acton and Milton. As a re- sult, a suspect has been identified. A search warrant was executed at a Georgetown home and investigators seized stolen property. A 16-year-old boy from Georgetown is charged with possession of property ob- tained by crime and two counts of fraud. The accused has been released from custody pending a court appearance in Milton.
