A Georgetown chef will spend Christmas Day cook- ing for more than 175 people who need it most. Brady Davies, a personal chef based in Georgetown, has partnered with a num- ber of local businesses to prepare individual turkey dinners. "On Christmas Day, ev- eryone involved will be down there lending a hand," Davies said. Working out of Uncorked on Main for the day, Davies said staff from McMaster's Meat and Deli and Mill St. Cheese Market will also be contributing. Joining Da- vies in the kitchen for the day are Rod and Janelle Pas- ma. "We're just going to go at it all day and pump out all these turkeys," he said. While donations are wel- come, Davies said the Christmas Day event had al- ready raised enough money to cover the event, and any leftover money would be do- nated to the Georgetown Breadbasket. "I know people who are hurting," Davies said about why he wanted to offer the Christmas Day meal. "I still have work, but a lot of people are hurt hard, especially at Christmas time." A team of volunteers will deliver the meals.
