Jill, 44, of Georgetown, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family after a valiant battle, which she fought with the strength, resilience and determination for which she is known. Jill was the beloved daughter of Shirley Dupuis (Emilien Lacasse) and the late Emile Dupuis, the best big sister to Allison Krohn (Mark) and Darrel Dupuis, and an incredible TeeTee to Norah. She was deeply loved by her best friend Roxane Morrison (Ray), and her two boys Cameron and Isaac. Jill is predeceased by her grandparents Peter and Geraldine Melanson, and Rita and Gabriel Dupuis. She was loved by special Aunts and Uncles Emilienne and Austin Boudreau, and Yvonne and Edgar Beauchamp (both predeceased). Jill is already greatly missed by countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Born and raised in Sudbury, Jill lived in Southern Ontario for nearly 25 years, after attending the University of Guelph, followed by teacher's college at Nipissing University. She was born to be a teacher and excelled at making her students feel loved and special. Being able to empathize with and relate to her students was her superpower and every child she taught had a safe place in Miss Dupuis' class. She spent the majority of her 20-year teaching career at Glen Williams Public School, where she delved into her passion of art, expanding it most recently to digital art. Her talent was infinite, as was her kindness. She would do anything for anyone, was nice to everyone she met and was an all around stellar human being. If you knew her, you loved her. Despite the challenges thrown at her, she always remained focused and positive, using the trademark family inappropriate humour to get through any situation, right up until the end. There will always be a hole in our hearts where Jill once stood. We would like to extend our gratitude to the health care teams at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial, Milton District and Georgetown Hospitals who took amazing care of our Jill throughout these challenging conditions. We are so appreciative of everything you did to keep her with us and being there when we had to let her go, all during a global pandemic. You are superheroes. A private family celebration of Jill's life will be held in the chapel at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11 a.m. Family and friends are invited to view the celebration of life for Jill through a live webcast on Jill's web page. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Myasthenia Gravis Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated. CAIRNS, Keith ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Peacefully on Monday, January 4, 2021 at his home in Georgetown after a short battle with cancer. Dear brother of Joan Rose, Carl Cairns (Josie) and Joyce Phelan (Paul). Fondly remembered by his special friend Isabelle.
