In a statement posted on its website, Halton Healthcare noted that ef- fective Friday (Apr. 9) pa- tients at Georgetown Hos- pital, Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and Milton District Hospital will not be able to have vis- itors. "In light of the provin- cial government's stay-at- home order and increas- ing COVID-19 cases in our community, we have made the difficult decision to suspend general visiting until further notice," the statement reads. "We know that this will be challenging, but we must do everything we can to protect the safety of our patients and community."
