The secondary plan process will establish a detailed development concept for infrastructure and land use in the area, including new communities or the redevelopment of the existing community, in Stewarttown. Conducted over 18 months, the Review will be a community-integrated process, shaped by input from the public and stakeholders. Notice of Tax Due Date NEW: Preauthorized Payment Plan Extension for Property Tax The Town has introduced a one-time extension for pre-authorized tax payment plans for Halton Hills residents and businesses. If you have experienced financial hardship due to COVID-19, you could qualify to spread your tax payments over seven months from June to December. More information can be found on haltonhills.ca/tax. Halton Healthcare has suspended in-person visit- ing at its hospital until fur- ther notice. In a statement posted on its website, Halton Healthcare noted that ef- fective Friday (Apr. 9) pa- tients at Georgetown Hos- pital, Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and Milton District Hospital will not be able to have vis- itors. "In light of the provin- cial government's stay-at- home order and increas- ing COVID-19 cases in our community, we have made the difficult decision to suspend general visiting until further notice," the statement reads. "We know that this will be challenging, but we must do everything we can to protect the safety of our patients and community." HHS went on to state that exceptions for visiting may be considered on a case-by-case basis. The health-care provid- er said they are trying to limit the number of people in their hospitals as part of their efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
