Data will be collected under existing condi- tions and compared to traffic da- ta collected once the speed limit has been reduced. To date, four retail cannabis stores have opened in Halton Hills with six proposed. The town filed ob- jections to two stores based on distance buffers set out by the AGCO. SMOKING AND VAPING BYLAW In July 2020, Halton regional council adopted a new smoking and vaping bylaw that tightens restrictions on where smoking and vaping can occur. In addition to the 2017 Smoke Free Ontario Act's restrictions, smoking is prohibited within nine metres of a municipal build- ing's entrance or exit.
