The backdrop of a local band's new music video may look awfully familiar to ar- ea residents. Kyle and Ben Hannah -- better known as Mountain Head -- did the shoot for their latest single, "Let It Out," in downtown George- town. Due to pandemic restric- tions, the duo says they re- ally had to flex their DIY muscle to finish the video, which features puppet ver- sions of themselves that they made at home. "Usually, we are on set with a crew, and there's a whole lot going on, but for this video, we had to scale it back and get creative," said Ben. Equipped with an idea and a modern cellphone, the brothers set off to historic downtown Georgetown, us- ing it as the main backdrop for their video. "There are a lot of classic Georgetown cameos," noted Kyle. The band's latest song is their ninth studio single. The duo's star began rising in mid-2019 when they re- leased a string of debut sin- gles that garnered attention globally, landing them an American management deal, multiple major label offers and a shoutout from legendary hip-hop group Wu Tang Clan. During the pandemic, the two men have been busy recording in their local home studio, with more re- leases expected this year. For further details, visit mountainheadmusic.com. The latest video is available on Mountain Head's You- Tube channel.
