Did we get our spring cleaning done in a big way. From all that I saw in the auditorium, we se- niors must have the clean- est closets in town. If you still have some things you would like to donate, you have until June 18. This has been made pos- sible through FUNDrive, an eco-friendly fundraiser for non-profit organizations. Kudos to those who picked up the little herb gar- den. Hope your thyme, chives and oregano flourish and add great flavours to your cooking. Or maybe you are inter- ested in starting or replant- ing your vegetable garden. Again, we can help you with this project. We have a wide variety of vegetable seeds for sale. Come to the centre and pick out what you would like. Seeds are between the main doors (rear of build- ing), and money can be put in an envelope with 'seeds' marked on it and placed into the bin provided. Seeds are $1.00/package or 6/$5.00. Like any other organiza- tion, it has been difficult to plan too far into the future. But one of the things we are looking at is another silent auction, with the date to be determined. Watch your emails for updates. Orders are still being taken for the popular Mrs. V's Preserves. You can pur- chase jams, jellies and chut- neys. The cost is $6 a jar and you email Sherry with your order. Again payment may be made by putting your money in an envelope with your name and what you or- dered. All payments are put in the bin between the doors. All exercise programs will continue virtually until the end of June. Have you thought about taking part in 'Art Your Ser- vice'? There are all kinds of weekly classes being of- fered. Call Sherry at the centre for more informa- tion. Bored at home? Spend your time with the Halton Hills Public Library.
