More than 200 residents from. the hamlet concerned about the safety of pedestrians and cyclists have signed a petition that calls for a speed limit reduction to 40 km/h throughout the Glen, along with the installation of speed bumps on Confederation, Wild- wood, Main and Prince streets, and Eighth Line. "These traffic-calming mea- sures are needed now to ensure the Glen remains a safe commu- nity for its residents, businesses and visitors," asserts the petition that was recently presented to Halton Hills Council.
