At the time of writing, Les and Lynda are talking to the firefighters and the Acton Citizens Band in the hope that we can resume welcoming the townspeople to the kind of fun we have always had in the past. On Saturday, June 11, the zone golf event was held in Acton, and we had several members qualify for the district tournament that will be held at Port Do- ver on July 23. They are Wayne ODeforest, Deb Fields, Rae Nellis, Keith Anderson, Lori Savage, Jane Shorthill, Courtney Tummon-Hastie and Tere- sa Uiterwyk. Keith and Teresa are al- so advancing in Washer ss along with Jonny Ui- rwyk, Brian Richards and Joe Jub: From suly ot to Aug. 7, Team Ruck groups will be the Bruce Trail (900k march) from Tober- mory to Niagara on the Lake. They will be stopping at 20 legions along the way. Acton's Branchi97 will be one of them.
