Only Steve Weishar returns from last year’s team. Of course, any trade in junior hockey can only be made with the permission of the player. Poulstrup admitted while the addition of Giurello gives the Raiders some flexibility in terms of a possible player move, he wouldn’t say one way or the other if such a scenario will be enacted. “If we decide defencemen are what we want we’ve got that option,’’ he said, showing better moves than any player could dis- play under game conditions. “What we have is kind of problem every team wishes it could have.” NO’ — Raider assistant coach Keith Bennett has decided to step down from his post. I was unable to obtain the results and news from. the league stats person due to my, always, busy final week in my other sport. We will catch up next week with all the highlights of last week and the current week. This being Royal Canadian Legion Week the local legion premises were not available to the Industrial league, which moved to the Oddfellows Hall for last Wednesday’s league matches. Most players found their way and man- aged the usual round of first and second division matches. Acadian Pools lost 4-5 to Steeprock; Panthers defeated High Rollers 6-3; Westenders took out Gasketman Cutters 5-4 and Hustlers saw off Inter County by 8- 1. In the second flight Ensigns hammered Bandits 9-0; Dream Team shattered Hotshots 8-1; independents defeated Aces 8-1 and Taxmen took all nine from Firemen. Already, indications are there for the championship run in. Cutters, Georgetown | Chrysler Saturday, Oct. 3rd Raiders ad. Royal York !!! FREE MEMBERSHIP DRAW !!!
