On Tuesday, the Raiders got their offense together for their last game before Christmas, as they Raiders will split up general man The cloudy issue of the general manager’s post with the Georgetown Chrysler Raiders is starting to clear up. Club officials met last week to discuss the position, which has been held the past two seasons by team president Finn Poulstrup. Poulstrup was hoping that with the appointment of new coach Gary Ford three weeks ago, the naming of a new general manager would soon follow. However, such hasn’t been the case. Yet, Poulstrup said a change could be made in the next couple of weeks that would see the post split up among three individuals. Ford would be coach and general manager, with an assistant general manager and director of player per- sonnel also splitting up the duties. Poulstrup said Ford, who assumed coaching duties after Charlie Hanman stepped down, has a cou- ple of individuals in mind for the new positions. “Our goal this year was to get a new general at the start of the year, but it didn’t work out that way because we couldn’t find the time (to address issue),’’ Poulstrup said. “But we’ve the time, and with the change in coach we have a golden opportunity to do it espe- cially with Gary bringing in more people. “We would like to go that way (assistant GM and player-personnel director) for the remainder of the NORTHEND NISSAN SALES, SERVICE LEASING Miiton first period, McCulloch took Busby’s pass, skated hard from center ice, and shot it in the high far corner. Some of the other Georgetown’s losing ways. “Gary went into the dressing room and told the guys that no one gets traded until he shows he’s worth trading for,”” Poulstrup said. “If a player can prove he’s worth trading for something of equal value in return, then we'll talk.”” Georgetown ’ Men’s League Dec 14, 1992 Arnies Auto Body 175 LIB Contractors 168 Countrywide 159.5 Sam’s Service Center 150.5 Acid Rainbow 124.5 Custom Car & Sound 120 Los Amigos 110.5 Top Shooters Lu Zander 791(291, Bryan Creasey 781 (304), Gord Lane722 (258) Top 5 Averages Carl Fisker 235 Bruce Clarke 225 Brinley Hole 224 Bryan Crease pak Paul Chaplin 220 ELECTRONIC SERVICE AT A PRICE THAT WON'T JOLT YOU! + VCRs + HOME & CAR STEREOS + PORTABLES « CDs + TURNTABLES * VIDEO GAMES * COMPUTERS: ETC. 90 DAY GUARANTEE + FREE ESTIMATES ‘ALL SERVICE PERFORMED ON PREMISES BY QUALIFIED TECHNICIANS For the Best Service At The Best Price Call JOURS S,- FRI. 6:00 GEORGET GEORGETOWN CUSTOM CAR SOUND sae ee TS SINC
