Across Ontario, the several Crime Stoppers programs have been responsible for recovering $38,375,081 in stolen property and the seizure of illicit drugs worth $66,085,174 off the streets. Dan Farr Halton Regional Police Detectives in Burlington and the Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office are appealing to the public for any information that will lead to the arrest of suspect(s) responsible for an arson (fire) that occurred at the Bloomingdales Restaurant in Burlington, Ontario. On Tuesday, December 22, 1992 at approximately 10 p.m. Halton Regional Police responded to an alarm at Bloomingdales Restaurant at 1124 Plains Road, West in the City of Burlington, Ontario. Upon arrival the officers observed a fire in progress at the rear of the premises and the Fire Department was immediately notified and responded. The fire was limited to the rear and basement area of this build- ing.
