At this time, the store buzzer alerted her that a customer was in the store. She looked up to see a man approaching her with his face tight- ly wrapped in surgical bandages, covering his entire face except for the eyes. The suspect appeared to have a handgun with a black, rubber grip, concealed into the waistband of his pants. The suspect demanded “give me all the money in the till” and calmly drew the clerk’s attention to the handgun in his belt. The clerk gave the man a small amount of cash. He became angry and demanded all of the twenties. The clerk told him she did not have any twenties. The man, obviously annoyed, left the store. An independent witness from the store describes the suspect as male, white, 6 feet tall, 150 pounds, aver- age build. He was wearing a dark blue or grey, wool overcoat with collar and lapels, faded jeans, pow- der blue colored sweatshirt and run- ning shoes. Six days prior to this robbery, a Mac’s Milk Store in Guelph, Ontario was robbed by a suspect of very similar description.
