Organic growing seminar held On March 10, Wastewise held an Organic Growing Seminar. The seminar was organized by Bill Wray and Jennifer Duff, two stu- dents working at Wastewise through the Environmental Youth Corps program. The first speaker, Susan Moore from the Oakville Pesticides Action Group, spoke to almost 30 people. Her talk began by warning the audience about the dangers of pes- ticides. She said that pesticides.can often cause cancer, sterility in men, digestive problems and birth defects.
