Club general manager, Finn Poulstrup, was pleased with what he ‘saw last week when 94 Players showed up (out of 180 invitees) to try and make the Raider squad. He admits, however, it will be hard to get some Players to come to Georgetown. “We are competing with Metro Toronto and other teams in the division for players and we're (Georgetown) not a huge market. We don’t have the number of peo- ple as in Burlington to watch games,” said Poulstrup. Poulstrup thought the quality of the players was very good and from the Raiders standpoint, they will pick players who show a defi- nite interest in Playing in Georgetown, 7 As well, Poulstrup liked the contingent of players from Raiders rate rookies Finn Poulstrup Georgetown who attended the tryout camp and thinks there are a few who have a legitimate chance to make the squad.
