A car was stolen on Queen St. in Georgetown, early that morning, driven to Albert St., where it was rammed repeatedly into a parked vehicle, causing over $2, age. The man then drove to the Fallingbrook Trail area and broke in to two cars, taking sunglasses and an undisclosed amount of cash. man drove to Ninth Line, where he abandoned the car and stole anoth- er. He returned to the Albert St. res- idence ahd drove repeatedly into another car. The cars on Albert St. we by police to belong to the man’s ex-girlfriend and her cur- rent boyfriend. The second stolen car was then abandoned and found by police several hours later. The man is to appear in court June 14. Model home ransacked One of the Birchland model homes on Samuel Dr. in Georgetown was broken into some- time between April 22 and last Saturday afternoon. Thieves made off with over $5,000 worth of furni- ture, including a wooden desk, a swivel chair, armchairs, dining room chairs and a custom-built din- ing room table.
