Redmen lose |... p85 .:ft 2 tight one By Mike Zrostek The Acton High School Redmen senior boys soccer team lost.a hard- fought game Tuesday to a strong squad from Pearson, 2-0 under less than ideal playing con- ditions. Pearson, which is favored to do some damage in senior boys soc- cer play this year, controlled the game defensively limiting Acton to very few scoring chances under wet conditions. “Tt was a hard-fought, very physical but clean game but in the end we were beaten by a better team,” said coach Colin Bain. Matt George and Matt Elliott stood out for the Redmen whose rene dropped to 0-2 on the sea- a cThere were not enough good scoring opportunities and in this league you have to capitalize on them because the games are low scoring. The boys played a really good physical game against a good team,” said Bain.
