Funds from the day, and any donations received, are used to assist in the acquisition of special- ized sports limbs for children in the (CHAMP Program), which is funded by the War Amps of Canada. Last year, with the generous support of the participating clubs, as well as area business $670.00 was raised for this cause. As well as assisting an extreme- ly worthwhile program, it pro- vides people with a positive intro- duction to the sport of lawn bowl- ing.
