The booth will be selling poppies during mall hours this week. Remembrance Dinner will be this Saturday, Nov. 6, commencing at 6 p.m. Tickets are available at the bar at a price of $7.50. Let’s Remembrance Day services By Harry Norton The, annual Remembrance Day parade from: the. Post Office to the Cenotaph. will be held this Sunday. Followed by a community. church service at Knox Presbyterian. -All citizens and interested community groups should be at the Post Office by 10:30 p.m. to form up and parade to the Cenotaph on Mill Street. As usual, the Ladies Auxiliary will be serving the Remembrance Day lunch for Legion members. Tickets-at the bar, $5 per person..Following the din- ner, a service will be held at the Cenotaph in Haltonville at 3:30 p.m. Try and join in this service that honors all those boys from Nassagawaya that gave their lives so we could have the freedom we all enjoy today. There was a good turnout on * Wednesday and Thursday for the card games and the winners were Ward Hamilton, Colin Baker and en Lovell for bridge and 3 George O’Donnell Branch 197 Royal see a large turnout for this function.
