Rep Results McNally Raiders tie with Ching The Georgetown McNally Construction Minor Novice Raiders skated to a 2-2 draw with Chinguacousy on Sunday at Memorial Arena. The contest remained scoreless throughout the first period. Chinguacousy opened the scoring early in the second, but the Raiders pe strong with Matt ilts firing a shot past the Chinguacousy goalie to tie the game at 3:59. Good teamwork by Bradley Norton and Matt Tales earned them the assists. The Raiders took the lead at 7:09 in the third period on a goal i Norton assisted by Matt The iis played hard to protect their lead but Chinguacousy managed to squeeze past the Raiders to tie the game 2-2 late in the final Eatin goaltending by Jason Armstrong and Alex MacLeod. Bodanis Bants come up big By Wendi Goodhew Coaches Jack Moon, Ron Crane and Chris Goodhew put their investment plan into action big time in Erin Oct. 11. Their Bodanis Bantams canceled Erin’s plan with a 5-1 win. Gary McNiven had two pay-offs for the night, one at 2:20 of the first peri- od and one \at 1:13 of the second period. Assists on Gary’s goals went to Mike Walinga, Rob Pilgrim and Curtis Carr. At 12:33 of the first period and again at 6:14 of the second, Curtis Carr scored. Hunter supported Curtis on his last goal. Mike Walinga caught. on fast and at the nine minute mark of the third, he put the final stamp on Erin’s net scoring Georgetown’s fifth goal. Cameron Hunter again grabbed the assist. On Oct. 16, the Bodanis Bantam’s shut out Milton 7- 0. Shane Thompson was the big investor for the game, Tearing a hat trick. Gary McNiven called’ in an unpaid debt from Milton and-one at 3:24 of the third riod. Rob Pilgrim came to life at 13:28 of the third when he buried the puck in Milton’s net scoring Georgetown’s fifth goal. Rick Clark beat Milton’s goalie at 5:54 of the third. Ss rs on these goals were Jamie Briggs, Rick Clark, Rob Pilgrim, Curtis Carr and Mike Walinga. In goal for Georgetown was Andrew Craig, who did an excellent job. Major Atoms start to roll. Georgetown John Henderson Pro Shop Major Atoms took three of a possi- ble four points, tying the Oakville Rangers 1-1 and beating Chinguacousy 6-4. In the tie with Oakville, Riley McAneney scored the lone . goal for the Georgetown squad. Veltman each scored two goals in the 6-4 win over Chinguacousy. Ryan Inglis and Matt Walinga had sin- gles to help out in the win.
