The opening four sets were evenly distributed. It looked like being a close match. Then Ensigns took three in a row to set up the win. The last two sets were tied in a fine match. The high start of the night was 120, Mike Pepper doing it twice, Mike Hope and John Burke opening once. 140 was the high score and Ray Ackroyd and Al Gardner were the scorers. Joe Poirier scored 134 and Mike Finn scored 132. Terry Hancock recorded the high close of 78 for the night.
