Page 14 — Halton Hills This Week, Saturday, December'11, 1993 Santa’s coming for breakfast By Margaret Vint Two weeks ago we held our Annual Open House. Many of you who visited the office to purchase Downtown Dollars told me how much you were enjoy- ing your day downtown. The concept of an Open House, the hospitality, the variety of food and beverages being served, the great sales in the stores and the money you could save. Also, you took the time to pass along some general comments about the area. When speaking of what you like about shopping downtown, the reasons most often mentioned were: Service — “the people go out of their way to help you”, Atmosphere — “you never feel you’re being rushed”, Variety of Goods and Services — “there really is a lot down here”. One young lady said she had recently married and wanted us to know that “everything for our wedding was done downtown” and she was still receiving compliments from guests. Thank you for all of your comments, we do appreciate hearing from you. This Saturday (Dec. 11th) is Breakfast with Santa. Always very popular with the children and one of my favourite events. I get excit- ed thinking about it! I love to see the expressions on the children’s faces as they anticipate the arrival of Santa Claus, and what a welcome he receives when he enters YONG’ S RESTAURANT el Licenced under .e.o. ~ 109 MAIN ST. $.
