Everyone was | geared up for the trip. j ‘The cadets were also looking forward to showing § off their new blue uniforms. i Upon arrival at the = Connaught Ranges, where try. From here. the bus drove us past the new Canadian Peace Memorial, commemo- rating Canada’s continuing UN commitment. Now we were off to the Canadian Air Museum. The museum holds many fine examples, not, only of Canada’s military aircraft but of the many others that forged Canada’s aviation history. With the sun setting and a very busy day behind us, we headed for our barracks. After some free time, the cadets headed to mess. Our evening was spent in Ottawa taking in a movie. Sunday also began at 6 a.m. We moved out of our barracks and loaded the bus for the trip home. With abundant energy from our excellent breakfast at the mess, our squadron headed back to Ottawa for our final stop, the Science and Technology Museum. This was enjoyed by all the mbers. After a few stops along the way, we finally arrived back in Georgetown. Although we were all tired from our busy week- end, the cadets and staff reflected on all that we had done and seen and agreed this had been a truly memo- rable trip.
