Heritage Day: Heritage Canada Foundation have declared Feb. 15 as Heritage Day in Canada. Join with us on this historically important day for our ANNUAL MEETING and ELECTION OF OFFICERS. We are sure you will find this meet interesting and certainly in keeping with Heritage Day. We also urge you to take this opportunity to view the new Centre if you have not previously done so. We will have the privilege of having Mrs. B. Cornwell, Librarian for Halton Hills Libraries, speak to us regarding the new facilities in the Historically important building. Since 1974, the national organization "Heritage Canada Foundation", have been devoted to making Canadians aware of their heritage, and have strongly advocated that a day be set aside each year for the contemplation and celebration of our past. Althought Heritage Day is not yet an official holiday, groups and communities across the country are choosing to mark this day with special events and programmes. Murray Clan Society: - is now being formed in Eastern Canada as part of the North American Branch. Anyone interested in this society should contact: John D.
