At the Annual General Meeting of the Esquesing Historical Society, the first Society President, former Mayor, and life-long resident of Town, will recall the Georgetown he knew. KNOX CHURCH, Georgetown, 7:30 p.m. Wed. 11 Mar. 1992 Historic Acton - Enjoy a slide show of Acton composed of pictures from the Esquesing Historical Society collection. Past President Mark Rowe will conduct the slide show. Location to be determined. New Pamphlets - The Society now has a new pamphlet entitled Norval On The Credit. It was put together by Joan Carter of Norval from the works of Rev. Dr. Rick Ruggle. The pamphlet was ready for Norval's plaque unveiling on October 27th. You can purchase your own copy of the pamphlet for 25 cents at the next meeting from Betty Brownridge. Betty Brownridge has composed a pamphlet on the hamlet of Ashgrove. The Society hopes to publish this very soon. Jean Ruddell is also preparing a pamphlet on the village of Limehouse. It will soon be ready for publication. This new pamphlet on Norval joins our present set on Acton, Georgetown, and Glen Williams. Our best customer for these publications is the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce who distribute them free to visitors. 3
