the largest and finest parades was held and an inspiring service held in the park hearty a thousand took part in the huge parade and were joined by hundreds more at the service in the park which was arranged by the local clergy and presided over by reeve mooutcheon promptitude has been a feature or all the meetings and functions of the week and on sunday afternoon the big parade moved off sharp at three oclock with the lome soots pipe and brass bands in the lead and mr b harrop mar shall then came the regiment in full strength undar ixo04 o u fltsgerald and members of acton legion and the veterans of the district and visitors toe second section of the parade was headed by the standard bearers with the colors acton citherns band town officials clergy public school teachers and chil dren oubs and scouts of acusn troop continuation school teachers and pupils data of devonshire and lakeidde chap ters of the- ioua scout mothers auxiliary womens institute true blue and orange lodges and representatives j of other organizations it was truly formidable and inspiring spectacle as it swung down ulll street to main street and knox avenue and formed up in the pork it was one of which
