concentrates the hay crop must be saved if we are to have anyt lilng like enough milk for ur urban markets this coming winter this means that the help of every available man is required resi dents of week on another new aaitin to the plant of the wool combing corporation in acton the new section will be two storeys with 7500 square feet on each floor a total additions 15000 square feet of space talking to mr marfcon yesterday tn pass passs was informed the new section will be used for storage pur poses partly as a machine shop and will also have a section for a nipg room for the ue of the employees since this plant operates continuously day and night and many of the em ployees come from the district sur rounding this last named feature will indeed be a great convenience the new building will be brick con struction and will fill in a space be tween jlhe new section built two years ago and the present sorting rooms and office quarters the contract has been awarded to the georgetown lumber co and it is anticipated the new section will be completed about october 1st it is not quite three years since the wool combing corporation ac quired the building in acton and started to- prepare it for their plant here the plant has only been in op eration about two years and a half and has shown continued growth dur ing that period a new addition was built in 1941 and the railway siding was extended to the plant that year at commencement of operations here it was estimated that loo em ployees would be on the staff and the number is now closer to double that figure day
