halton county after ib years of liberal representation in ottawa the county re turned its first woman member sybil bennett qc to link this year of 1953 with 1890 when a similar change of parties took place until then halton e political record was consistently reform but in 1890 the con servatives took office for a term that was to last for 45 years until 193s among the early representatives of the
