followed by the mission band singing the lords prayer jean mitchell read the 23rd psalm and ann baujch read the prayer charlotte carton very nicely welcomed the guests the mission band sang do no sinful action mrs menzics a member of the mission band ever since it was organized gave a partial report of the activities of the band through out the- years mrs menzics read the constitution and the first mem bership roll with those who were charter memhers standing these jvere mrs lewis binklcy carlisle mrs elmer bowles rockwood mrs fanny linn mrs j k mi- hon mrs j deforest and mrs menzics campbellville there were 47 members enrolled many other former members were pfesent from alberton burlington stoney creek toronto hamilton aldershot tansley milton and acton in looking over the years of mis sion band meetings there were times when the membership was not as large as at other times wlier discouragement might have crept in but the spirit of this mlsion band has always been faith and menxies was presented with a beautiful rhinestone pin by little joann mitchell on behalf of the mem bers mrs menzies was so comp letely taken by surprise she found it difficult to express her apprec iation however she is very happy as she always has been when with the mission band and wishes for it and the leaders every blessing greetings were brought from the afternoon auxiliary of the wom ans missionary society by miss simpson the blair evening auxil iary by mrs james robertson arid by mr a t moore for the girls group also several letters of good wishes for the miss band and reg rets were
