the opening of the school the plaque is to be erected in the school and it is inscribed this plaque was erected august 14 1955 to commemorate the hun dredth anniversary of the opening of this school ss no 3 nassaga weya school built 1855 a wreath was placed on the nassagaweya township monument for the five from the school who gave their lives in the war the five were johrr blair t br elsley allen reading clarence elsley and clarence carton a two minute sil ence was held in their memory m j carton received the dedicated wreath and read the names of the service men coffee sandwiches and cake were served at the conclusion of the service on monday night the program delayed from saturday started wit a softball game between moffat old boys and the halton- vtlle boys it was a fast game with
