flowers for the month of july several ladles offered to help with the lunch for the daily vac ation bible school which begins july 9 in the sunday school room some other items of business were discussed after which there was a fshort program jtars james wallace gave a recit ation christopher robin saying his prayers mrs baulch gave a very fine address with notes taken from the 82nd general assembly of the presbyterian church dwelling chiefly on devotions and the im portant place they play in our own life and the work of the church it was stressed that prayers are so often lacking in fervor it would mean so much if when offering prayer we could just speak from our hearts even in halting and humble language there would then be real joy the offering was received and dedicated with with se quins she carried a nosegay of yellow chrysanthemums the bridesmaid miss jean par ker cousin of the bride wore a pretty gown of nylon embroidered lace and taffeta in rule green shade fashioned strapless with bolero to match her gloves and halo of pleated lace were of matching shade she carried a nosegay of yel low chrysanthemums the junior bridesmaid miss bon nie loggan cousin of the bride wore a gown of yellow nylon net over taffeta with lily point sleeves and fingerless gloves her halo was of pleated nylon she carried a nosegay of pink snapdragons the little flower girl niece of the
