honor grade 13 hs students during graduation banquet continued front pape on professors couldnt be bluffed with more words mr hamilton told the gradual ins class they came from a dis trict where the education stand ards were rated high and if they adapted themselves they could make a success of a university career in conclusion mr hamilton told the buvs and girls they were as good as any former graduates and if ihcv had faith fn themselves they could make a success of life gay decorations the school gym auditorium was gaijy decorated with red arid white streamers caricatures of the graduating class were por frayed on one wall while best wishes and congratulations were displayed on cards throughout the auditorium tables were arranged near the stage and were attractively dec orated with place caids fancy serviettes and ipnng flowers in dicativc of the planning and hard work of the student coun cil in organizing he event laurence duby acted as mas ter of ceremonies for the even ing he thanked the student council for their untiring efforts in making the occasion a mem orablc one for the graduating class jean moffat president of the student council said grace and laurence duby welcomed the class and guests as he led them in a toast to the queen make presentation one of the highlights of iru evening was the presentation of a large bible from the gradual ing class to the school for use in the auditorium grade 13 was toasted by staff member mrs e c reed res ponsc was given by ken gard ncr one of the graduates mdry lou crcighton proposed a toast to the leathers and w 13 students and staff members had an opportunity to discup problems and get acquainted in the staff room after nine o clock students of all grades parents and staff members enjoyed daneing lo ihc
