in front in the race for council seats and wihiam ma hon and elva newton were tied for fourth spot with 25 votes arthur gibson led the school board candidates horace blyth was runner up robert gregg was third john mcphail fourth and claude inglis fifth carlo bryce mrs frances sweet patrick redgrave and mrs willie essery trailed in that order only 34 ratepayers were seat ed in the hall when the first re sults were posted and it was a long wait until the second results came in the results from the two polling substa tions in campbenville came in and before they could be tab ulated results were called in from ward 4 at the home of duncan moffat the results of the first four polls reporting were a dear indication of the final result after four polls were heard from reeve coul ter had
