choirs sunday m a junior band a new set of tympani and a second girl in ac ton citizens band all made their debuts at the christmas concert sunday night a crowd of over 300 jammed the high school aud itorium for the best christmas concert yet snaring the program with the band were the high school glee qui and the acton legion chor- allers the audience sat at tab les in informal cabaret style but many had to sit in the upstairs bleachers after the auditorium was filled band ladies served coffee cookies and cake during intermission the band led by george ell iott had a lively repertoire that perfectly lit the mood of the ev ening the interesting program notes were read by ted tyler jr the high school glee club conducted by principal ted han sen sweetly sang czack dance song and the voice in the old village choir in turn the centennial favor ite chorallers sang god rest you merry gentlemen and jingle bells wlththalr leader george musselle in hospital mr han sen sprinted into a white
