the death at brandon general hospital on tuesday april 26th ol ida florence wife of john t shanks pettapiece community lost a highly esteemed citizen and one who great ly endeared herself to those with whom she came in contact during her thirty two years residence in the dis trlct mrs shanks was born at ashgrove halton county ontario december 3 1673 on june 20 1906 at ashgrme she became the bride of john t shanks of pettapiece tnd the fol lowing month took up residence at her western home mrs shanks possessed a pleasing personality of great help to others she devoted much time and talent
