gathering splendid exhibit in the hall many enjoyed program in arena first night of fair the spendld effort of the officers and directors of esqueslng agricul tural society was crowned with suc cess on wednesday ana thursday or last week when the 92nd annual pall fair was held at georgetown an added feature this year was the excellent entertainment provided in the arena on the first night of the show there was a large attendance and the ample seating accommodation made everybody comfortable to enjoy the program which consisted of selec tions by the lome scots band choruses by georgetown choral socie ty boxing bouts acrobatic perform ance folk dancing musical chairs on horseback and potato race there wasnt a dull moment during the en tire evening and the varied progam was much appreciated by all present thursday was the big day in the park when almost a record crowd nam oneof thebest exhibits of horses car driver exonerated by coroners jury a coroner 5 jury inquiring into the death of mrs jos s buddy last fri day night in the town hall here at tached no blame to the driver of the car which knocked mrs ruddy to the pavement on guelph st on the pre vious sunday evening causing almost instant death the jury took only ten minutes to decide that death was purey accl dental with no blame whatever at tached to rew marquess of guelph driver of the car in giving evidence jury held at acton on thursday night last brought in a verdict attaching no blame in the death of joseph gar diner 67 of speyside gardiner was fatally injured sun day sept 18th when he was in col lision with a car driven by ernest hall of ouelph while crossing the in tersection at bpeyslde to get a pill of water from a neighbor hall testified he saw a man run out from the side or the road as
