overseas after several narrow escapes and after being severely wounded mr and mrs k i wilson lived in geor getown for many years while mr wu son was accountant in the bank of mofrtti and captain experiences with the service all wished sarah a pleasant and safe journey word has been received that wren bllck has arrived safely overseas also associated with the here as well as in brampton slmcoe and toronto before enlisting captain wilson was only 20 feet away when his sergeantmajor was killed by machinegun bullets from a nazi plane which strafed their arm ored column now capt wilson is home with shrapnel wounds in his right leg and arm received when an aerial bomb exploded near him about the same moment as an enemy shell i don t know which hit me he de clared wilson went into france june 18th with the 4th canadian armored di vision he was wounded july 26 but he saw plenty of action we ran into heavy fighting around caen and our casualties were heavy he continued 111 never forget the expressions on the faces of 1800 people we evacuated from the crypt of caen cathedral at first they looked at us as if we were a bother to them up setting their routine but soon after wards they
