i personally on behfdf of the georgetown lions cluh would like to thank all those good and considerate men women and children who braved the terrible weather we had on saturday for our lions club santa claus par- ade also for the work and ef- fort that was put into the build- nig of the floats and other entries to make this the best parade georgetown has ever had u is this community spirit that makes our town a good place to live and bring up our children in it certainly was too bad we couldnt have given every entry in the parade a prize for they were all good hut i think that the best pri2e of all is the thrill of being able to see the beaming faces of the children and adults of our town and vicinity as they watched the santa parade there was a large crowd who braved the weather to come out and greet the parade on the four corners which goes to show the appreciation of the efforts put in to it i would also like to thank all the firms and business people who made donations to
